Mildred Spain Bennett
Mildred Spain Bennett, 84, of Powhatan, died January 2, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Bennett; two sons, Charles B. Bennett Jr. of Chesterfield, Carlton E. Bennett of King William; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,
2 pm, in the Graceland Baptist Church, Powhatan. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Powhatan County Volunteer Rescue Squad.
